You will notice that only fourteen Children have registered. One has not shown up. I have spoken with two of the others, and I have reason to believe he has Fed upon the person he was Charged to Follow. I chose him because he had not worked in a long time. I trusted him with a task of great importance. He was Weak, and easily Succumbed to his own desires. He will be Punished accordingly.
This means that I may also be Punished. If that happens, I will be replaced with another representative. We are very Expendable people, I'm Afraid. A sixteenth child has been chosen to replace the fifteenth.

Yeah, I think - given that you told us he was bound NOT to feed and he did - we at least deserve to know WHO he fed from.
