Well, there is the very slight possibility that they altered the videos so that the effects could be stronger. I am not positive (in fact, highly doubtful), but the video may have even been produced by them.
This is all strictly conjecture, of course. The video is very dangerous. It's destroyed his mind. Sadly, there's nothing that can be done. Father Paranoia knows of what will happen to those who watch it.

If the videos are being uploaded from secondhand copies, why do they look like they came from the master? The quality is too good for any of these to have come from VHS.

Finally, a question proper to answer. Only a few of the videos were ever copied off. The people who first purchased them did indeed purchase the first videos, which were kept in good states. |
