Hardly a coincidence, it seems, that there will be a total of nine videos. I'd say those would be an effective replacement. My thoughts exactly. The videos are clearly the replacement for the station. Given, however, that the videos have always been around in some from, I wonder what the station replaced... ilovetofix, would you care to comment on my first statement? I think the station was to replace the Book possibly? |

I doubt it's the necronomicon, as that would be really the first intrusion of genuine Lovecraftian mythology into this (although I've seen some "borrowing" of Lovecraftian themes). More likely is the Book of the Law, since Crowley has already been referred to multiple times. Even more likely is something entirely different; I'm actually not of the opinion that the book was the previous medium; it sounds like something Paranoia has to deal with, not something he's produced.

I had a dream of somebody opening my mouth and then ripping out one of my wisdom teeth. Was this during the ritual? Losing your teeth/a tooth is a pretty common dream symbol... |

Love said earlier it was known as " the book of unknowable knowledge". That's pretty vague though. It must have been pretty important if Jack Q. Pembry was willing to trade it for the video he had. Perhaps love will fill us in on what the book is sometime in the future. |

Soon the suicides stopped. The police in San Francisco had bigger things to worry about at that time, and the case was closed and forgotten. I would imagine that the Zodiac Killer would be more important than some random suicides. |

Ah, The Zodiac. Now *there* is a serial killer. If anyone hasn't read any of the books about The Zodiac, you really should. I've been fascinated with him since I was in high school, many years ago, and I still think it's utterly amazing that this guy was never caught.
I wonder how the movie about him is going to be?

No, what I saw during the ritual was much worse. The ritual brought up some very violent and very real memories that I hadn't thought of in years. The audio I was using, Those childhood images, and the images from the videos were coming into my mind like a strobe-light. |
