This will be a thread for speculation and discussion amongst those of you following what has happened to my religion. Discussion of The Riddle (thread: A?) and The Notes (thread: Unanswered Questions) is not only allowed here but encouraged.

I do not know much about The Riddle or The Notes myself. I have a theory as to what the third page of The Notes may mean, and that is all.

I do not know of any actual suicides occurring. What happened to most of the old members here was addressed in the thread on this board's second page, "A Neutral Description".

I doubt it since 2 of the 3 videos linked to it are fake. I'd say he just likes this sort of stuff. It is his Muse *sorry had to go there*

mm, good day sir. Glad to be back into this, i think i will stick around despite whatever happens...after all...what's there to lose but a life?

Which brings me to an interesting topic that i guess now might as well be talked about. I co-lead (albeit have been away for a bit) a CS:S mod clan. One of our longest playing members (probably a year now) was talking to me in chat and on vent about this after i showed him the videos. He was freaked the hell out and i could tell via his voice and the way he was chatting.

Apparently (he lives in wisconsin i may add) he had seen one of the videos (it must have been 1, 2, or 3 i think) on dvd for a few seconds at the home of his cousin's friend's house back in '06, around he said, probably oct to december time. The friend claimed it was his brother's or something involving it, he either received it from him or was "borrowing it" i think.

To the point here, the friend killed himself a few months ago. Someone that he personally knew, albeit not that well being it was a more distant friend, but he still knew him. Either this is the strangest coincidence, or wow...

One of the first Wyoming Incident videos was posted to Google Video in August of 2006. I would not be surprised if he simply acquired the video there.

I doubt anyone human did any business with posthumous Wilson.

It was just very strange, i talked to him whilest he watched these and before he came onto this site, and everything he said seemed to have fit in pretty well. The fact that that guy is dead because he watched it on a DVD, not online, is what gets me.

I believe with you on the doubting, but perhaps he had 2 or 3 which if i remember correctly, passed through hands of 2 brothers i believe? Perhaps acquiring accidentally or on purpose before it was in a proper state and it drove him to suicide?

Other than the videos and some of the details themselves, not much has freaked me out, and this was the only thing that really got to me.

I understand that you are (perhaps unintentionally) implying a connection with the Cables. I know for a fact that the event you are talking about never happened. If your friend truly told you this, he is lying.

I'll take your word for it sir, i don't believe i was specifically referencing "the Cables." I just recalled reading such things. I take "the Cables" will not be explained quite yet? Or is that just a title i am not used to seeing?

I'm watching, and thinking, about things you're posting, and attempting to work through them, but forgive me for being suspicious of these boards after the Something Awful incident. the audio is very soft, it sounds like it a microphone was held up to a speaker or some other crude recording technique.

It seems an aspiring musician sampled the original song for his own track. Nothing directly related to what we're doing here.
