Some of you have expressed interest, and one of the former staff members of Joseph's hospital was kind enough to supply a picture this morning.
Joey was always very camera shy. He had a fascination with photography and old pictures, but he didn't like having photos of himself taken. This is one of the few remaining photographs we have of him. It was taken in late 2000. Joey had just had his first job interview in downtown Cheyenne, and it seemed to have gone well.
This is a celebration of sorts in the hospital's rec room. Joey was in a very good mood that day, and he actually posed to have this picture taken. This is what I hope people remember about him: his friendly, playful side. He could always make people smile, no matter how bad things seemed.
