I have talked with someone privately this morning. They have suggested that my throwing out personal information may scare off potential workers. They also mentioned beaux1 was just testing the waters, and that he didn't seem to be truly malicious to my cause.
So, I ask you, how should troublemakers be dealt with?
P.S. There will be some very big news this afternoon.

P.S. There will be some very big news this afternoon. Oh goody : ) I personally think that personal internet information isn't all that serious, to be truthful...But I suppose it depends on the individual and how important their privacy on the internet is in the first place. And if it's important to them then surely they should have more smarts than to be trolling a forum. But I digress. I voted the last option.

I'm not sure where the concept of "there shouldn't be any repercussions for being an idiot on the internet" started, but I'm glad to see somewhere where it doesn't apply. Especially with the possible "population explosion." Voted #1.

The information you gave out isn't really that personal. An email and IP address are not the same as, say, a full name and telephone number. If people cannot be respectful to what is going on, then they need not be here at all.

I see no problems with how you handed the trolls and disruptors. They don't belong here, and divulging their info will hopefully make other would-be trolls think twice.

I fully approve of how you've handled the trolls so far. Hell, it's completely won me over to your side despite some earlier reservations. Keep on kicking ass and taking names, Love.

iloveto fix I want to ask you a question. Do you like the posters on this forum? I like some of them as much as I can like people. Others I am not fond of at all. No names will be mentioned, though.

IP and email are about as private as, say, one's car and name IRL; not very.
That said, I think a simple ban is best most of the time, as the private info doesn't seem to serve much purpose to us, and I'm assuming y'all have other ways of getting the things you need.

I agree that if one does not want one's information divulged, it's best not to troll.
Actions have consequences.

Is anybody even going to harass the banned people over email? If not, why even post it? Get rid of them and let's move on with our business.

voted last option..
if they are truly being a menace to people here then they deserve info revealed and the like
but a ban is good too
if your banned, is it an IP ban, or just an account ban? cause banning someone so they cant even look at the forums is great, kinda the psychological treatment of not knowing whats going on anymore..leavin em' in suspense

It was not said what kind though, so the possibilities of disgusting things are exponential (pardon the possible pun to this site) Or the account could be filled to the max, you never know.

Now that I have more info it sounds like he has the right idea. I don't know how much I can contribute, but I enjoyed the videos, not much gets me paranoid.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was beastiality from what I've heard. Don't know what other kinds have been sent.

I don't see anything wrong with posting IP or e-mail addresses for people who are trolling or pretending to have inside information, but if it's just someone who has no clue what's going on, they seem harmless enough just to ban.

I voted for the last option, but I do have to ask that harassment be avoided. Love might not be in any trouble for posting the information, but using it to sign people up for beastiality porn is a little bit over the line, if you ask me. If you want to send annoying/spiteful emails, that's your choice, but c'mon. Beastiality porn is a little low.

Have you been too harsh? Nope. This is YOUR board, and we are guests. If someone pisses you off at home, you kick them out of your house and tell people they were rude guests. I don't see how this is any different. They know the consequences.
