Okay, first off, I have some good news. Video Six may be a bit early. I realized that I have pretty much everything in order and the children may very well be done observing tomorrow. I can't make any guarantees but I feel confident in telling you that the very idea of the video being delayed is ridiculous at this point.
The volunteer drive for Video Six will get its own thread, but this thread is more for the anticipation of it and discussion of the previous videos. Think of it as a spin-off of the discussion thread.

Do you feel that the importance of the videos has been overlooked by us?
I can't shake the feeling that they hold more in them than we give credit for, and yet I can't find anything in them that justifies this feeling.
edit: This is in reference to the content of the videos.

I get the feeling that the audio has some significance, rather it's some clue hidden within it or perhaps the music itself.

A few people have mentioned that the music comes from Silent Hill but is sped up.

Specifically, the music at the end of the fourth video.
I'm not able to place any of the other music.

Currently, it seems that we've really exploited the story regarding the distribution and history before the distribution of the videos. However, aren't these videos the things that actually started this whole thing? We've had people look at these videos over and over, analyze the audio, dissect the video, but we didn't seem to get anywhere. So according to all the data we may have, is it inferable that, in these videos, they contain subliminal messages that will cause its viewer to become paranoid about an aspect of their life or life all together? Or is there another function to the videos themselves?

This might go without saying, but I'm assuming that the earlier release of the video might mean that the phone call might be made earlier, as well.

Good catch. Although it is not mentioned that he knocked three times. But still , good catch. it was a summons for the person in the story to open the blinds.

I already beat you to that, Casper. It's part of Crowley's Ante Primal Triad from The Book of Lies. Those websites are Golden Dawn rituals, written by Aleister Crowley.

I have not fully explained how the videos work and why they are so vital, though I have hinted at it briefly in other threads and stories. I can't for now. You might be able to guess on your own, though.
As for the music, there is quite a bit hidden within the videos. The boy in Canada's job was to add those in and then cover them up. I assume at some point he got lazy and added in the electronic game music, hoping we would not notice.

Does anyone know a lot about steganography? I know that data can be hidden in jpgs and bitmaps, but can anything be hidden in video that can be encoded and later decoded?

One thing I haven't seen brought up is the motif of mouths. It's a subtle thing at first, with the small smile in video 1, but by the most recent, there's almost a full-on focus.
I wonder if this is related to the idea of "feeding," or if there's some other theme going on.

The Children will be here soon. I think I can reduce the amount of time this will take if I start the volunteer thread while they are here. I can listen to them, and then read the thread (which more than likely will still be filling up by that point).
Volunteer thread is soon.

This might be a dumb question. My computer here at work doesn't have speakers, and I've yet to watch the fifth video with sound (home internet connection sucks, and I forgot to put the video on a CD to bring it home). Towards the end of the clip, the mouth is very clearly saying something. Do we know what it is saying? Does it say something that shows up in the video's audio? If not, are we supposed to figure out what it's saying? Does anyone know?

Killian, there is nothing in the audio (nothing obvious, at least) that hints at what the mouth is saying.

Ok, thanks both Love and furikku! I'll keep watching it and see if I can maybe make out phonetically what it's saying. I've tried for a bit, and I must look quite interesting sitting here at my computer making my mouth into the same forms I see on the monitor and trying to figure out what sounds it's making.

At the end of the fifth video, is that a face of one of the Children? Also I'm not sure, but maybe someone who can read lips would be able to make out what the head is saying.

Seems to me like it's a sentence of 4 syllables, and the first word could possibly be "I', but I could be wrong. I wish I could read lips!

You might be able to guess on your own, though. Speaking of, I was wondering if you could answer the question I posted in the Zann thread. For the sake of convenience, I'll repost it here. Are the videos meant to act as a portal like Eric Zann's music? If I remember correctly, in the description of the first video, it mentioned that frequencies played in it made people sick, and caused them to hallucinate. This would normally be impossible as the frequencies claimed can not actually be reproduced on normal speakers. It seems like an odd mistake to make, unless of course, it was not the frequencies that caused the ill effects. Hell, maybe they weren't even hallucinating...
