I have seen many daunting omens lately. I am almost positive I am being watched at all hours of the day. I have performed rituals to protect myself, but I do not have the power to make it until next Friday. I doubt I have the power to even make it to Wednesday. I should still be thankful that I am aware of my death, and am able to make preparations, unlike my brothers who were ambushed.
It is imperative that the Physical Embodiment of Paranoia is discovered before I die. There are three candidates. One of them cannot die - not even temporarily. He is protected by too many muses to be invulnerable to a mortal, even one as remarkable as Mr. Lynn. Lynn is getting ready for his final hunt, while living his normal life and being fed information by me.
When the PEP is discovered, he will become the administrator for this board, and he shall be the one to guide you through the War. He will also, in time, reveal the location of the final Three Videos.

These guys seem kind of callous. Is there anything we can do to help you? I'd be willing.

These guys seem kind of callous. Is there anything we can do to help you? I'd be willing. I doubt it. A ritual to protect a fairly low former-human from someone as powerful as Maraino indefinitely would require a ritual with a ridiculously large amount of manpower behind it. The only reason I'm managing to extend the inevitable is because I'm using a few of the more advanced, individual-based ritual techniques I have learned while working under Paranoia. That's all I've managed to create - an extension. Maraino's patient enough to wait it out. They seem callous because this is a war. Almost everybody in this war believes they are fighting for what is, in the end, the best. I'm sure that Maraino's shadows and Calliope believe that they will simply be eliminating another dangerous obstacle on the way to a "better Earth". On the other hand, Maraino's own motivations grow more suspicious by the day.

I've never been one to believe that sentimentality has no place in war. It opens the way for peace, in my opinion. But I guess that's really not an option, in this case.
In any case, you've been invaluable. Here's hoping for a uncharacteristic misstep by Maraino.

Here's to hoping that it doesn't happen.

There's no escaping it as much as i wish it were otherwise, i don't like to see another life lost even if it has barely been known. Afterall though, is not the purpose of all this to just push back the inevitable?
